The new 210,000 square foot Marengo High School sits in the heart of the city, adjacent to the original 1923 high school. It is an integral part of the history of this rapidly growing community’s identity, creating a cohesive district campus.
The gabled, two-story academic atrium is at the heart of the school. The academic wing houses 52 technology-enhanced classrooms, administrative and student services, media center, vocational technology department and seven state of the art science labs. In the activities wing, the multi-functional cafeteria/commons serve both the 2,000 seat gymnasium, as well as the 450 seat auditorium and music wing.
The firm has also assisted Marengo Community High School District #154 on multiple projects including, a grandstand remodel, roof replacement, concession and site improvements and facility master planning.
