The 43,000 square foot Indian Creek Elementary School was designed to replace the deteriorated existing building. The library is the central focus as one enters the school. The flexible learning areas include Pre-K through fifth grade classrooms along with an art and music room.
The gymnasium is combined with the cafeteria to allow physical education classes to be held with hour-long activities. The gymnasium also includes a full-sized basketball court for community and after school activities. The serving kitchen has direct access from the corridor into the cafeteria. The administrative area allows for visual security of each corridor. Technological amenities complete this student-centered facility.
