The firm developed two options for the clerestory located at the Rockford Public School District Administration Building. The sloped glazing that provided natural light into the core of the building was a main source of water infiltration. The remaining modified bitumen roof was nearing the end of its useful life.
We provided a new design to remove the sloped glazing and designed an addition with clerestory lighting. The remaining roofing was replaced with a new single membrane roofing system.
