The Landings is one of Florida’s most prestigious master planned communities; situated on 250 acres of riverfront. It boasts an 18-hole executive golf course, 13 Har-Tru courts, competition swimming pool, 18 stocked fishing lakes, a private harbor and marina, 12 condo associations, two homeowners’ associations and is home to over 1,100 homes.
The current Wheelhouse Grille building has served as a riverfront marina, gas and supply sales store with a covered picnic area and bathrooms. Over the years the picnic area had been screened in and a bar had been built.
The firm was hired to make the building into a combination casual dining/ bar with river view, along with a ship store and a harbor master office and services. This was a very successful project and the riverside gathering place at the Landings Marina; the Wheelhouse is the most popular place to be at the landings.
